John LaLonde, D.O.

Dr. LaLondeDr. LaLonde is a native Californian.  He attended California State University at Long Beach for his undergraduate education.  He later received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona.  In 2001, Dr. LaLonde completed his Family Medicine training at Downey Regional Medical Center.  He has been in private practice in Southern California since 2003.  He founded Newport Medical and Wellness Center in 2007, which combines the practice of medicine with physical therapy and wellness programs to promote maximum health.   Dr. LaLonde emphasizes in preventive medicine and has special interests in clinical research, office medical procedures, and cosmetic procedures.

Dr. LaLonde is an active staff member at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach.  He is also affiliated with Western Medical Center in Santa Ana and Chapman Medical Center in Orange. 

Dr. LaLonde is a proud father of two sons and enjoys spending quality time and traveling with his family. 

José Mayorga, M.D.

Dr. MayorgaAs a family medicine physician, Dr. Mayorga is proud to provide high-quality, personalized health care for children, adults, and seniors.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine.  While completing his family medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, Dr. Mayorga served as the Chief Resident and Residency Clinic Director for the hospital's Department of Family Medicine.

Dr. Mayorga is a member of the Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association as well as an alumni of the Latino Medical Student Association.

Throughout the years, he has maintained a special interest in adolescent medicine.  He is fluent in Spanish and active in his community - serving as a physician mentor to high school, pre-medical, and medical students interested in the health care field.

When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Mayorga enjoys traveling to Tropical locations and cheering for the Lakers!

Jenn Baltazar, PA-C

Jenn BaltazarJenn Baltazar is a Colorado native living in Newport Beach with her husband and dog for the last eight years. She holds her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004, and finished her Masters at Western University of Health Sciences as a certified Family Practice Physician Assistant. She served as the statewide student representative elect for The California Academy of PA's and remains an active member still today. Throughout her residency training ranging from internal medicine to dermatology to emergency medicine. Currently Jenn also works in plastic and reconstructive surgery with a special focus in aesthetics (botox, laser therapy, and dermal fillers). Jenn comes from a long line of doctors and nurses in her family and feels honored to care for patients of all ages with an emphasis on women's health and preventative care.

Rachna LaLonde, MPT

Rashna LaLonde Rachna LaLonde, MPT received her bachelor of science degree in psychology from San Diego State University in 1991.  She continued to Western University in Pomona for her masters in physical therapy.  During her training, she had clinical affiliations at Mission Hospital and Northridge Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, as well as focused training in traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.  After completing her masters in 1996, Rachna worked as a member of the inpatient physical therapy team at La Palma Intercommunity Hospital, Martin Luther Hospital in Anaheim, and Anaheim Memorial Hospital.

In 1999, Rachna started her private physical therapy practice in Costa Mesa, California.  She founded Wellness by Design, which specializes in physical therapy and personal training.  She believes that, in addition to treating acute medical injuries, it is important to help a patient maintain wellness and lead a healthy lifestyle after completing treatment.  Rachna uses this philosophy to design personalized physical therapy programs for her patients.  Patients appreciate her genuine caring, her energizing personality, and the quality physical therapy they receive.  Rachna works closely with her personal trainers and physical therapists to ensure the highest standard of care. 

Tracy Van Horn, RN, MN, FNP

ShereseTracy Van Horn has lived in Orange County her entire life. She is married and has two daughters. She holds her undergraduate degree in nursing from CSUF, and in 1992 Tracy received her Master's degree in Nursing from UCLA. She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in emergency medicine, as well as reproductive and women's health. She has served as an adjunct professor of Nursing at several Southern California Universities where she taught at both the undergraduate and graduate level. For the last 6 years Tracy has specialized in aesthetic medicine and medically supervised weight loss programs.

Tracy's goal is to provide high quality, and highly personalized medical care to each of her patients. She takes the time to understand her patient's needs then works with them to achieve their goals.

Winifred Monaco, Chiropractor

Dr. MonacoWinifred graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, Ca.

Winifred went on to earn her doctor of chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 1999. She completed internships at Whittier Health Center and Cal-Northridge Orthopedic Center.

Dr. Monaco specializes in Active Release Techniques (ART) and is certified in upper extremity, lower extremity, spine, nerve entrapments and has completed t he master’s course. This technique addresses the soft tissue component of neuro-musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. She also uses diversified adjusting techniques, as well as some non-force techniques to address extremity and specific spinal segmental dysfunction.

ART is an official sponsor of the Ironman Triathlon, and Dr. Monaco has participated as a member of the treatment team sent to work with the athletes. Dr. Monaco’s practice focuses on helping her patients achieve their health and wellness goals through the identification of the biomechanical breakdown associated with pain and the restoration of maximum function.

Dr. Monaco also currently sits on the Alumni Board of Directors for the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, Ca.
